Held annually in the vibrant capital of Tbilisi, Georgia, the Tbilisi Jazz Festival is one of the oldest and most prestigious jazz festivals in Eastern Europe. First launched in 1978 as the “All-Soviet Jazz Festival,” the event was revived in 2000 and has since become a cornerstone of Georgia’s modern cultural identity.

Today, it attracts top international artists, jazz legends, and thousands of music lovers from across the globe. Blending tradition with innovation, the festival showcases a wide spectrum of music — from classic jazz and soul to funk, blues, fusion, and contemporary world music — all performed on the grand stage of the Tbilisi Concert Hall and other iconic city venues.

A Celebration of Music, Diversity & Culture

The Tbilisi Jazz Festival represents the heart of Georgia’s creative spirit. Its history spans more than four decades, bringing together musicians from Europe, the U.S., and the Caucasus.

Past editions have featured acclaimed performers such as Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, Richard Bona, Gregory Porter, and Diana Krall, establishing the festival as one of the most respected events on the European jazz calendar.

Organized by the Eastern Promotions Company, which also manages the Black Sea Jazz Festival (Batumi), the Tbilisi Jazz Festival delivers a mix of global artistry, local talent, and unforgettable cultural experiences in one of Europe’s most scenic capitals.
